What about...
Single Largest Cigarette Tax Hike Goes Into Effect Wednesday
President Obama signed a law early in his administration to raise taxes from 39 cents to $1.01 per pack of cigarettes and from 19.5 cents to 50 cents per pound for chewing tobacco.
Smoking prevalence was higher among adults living below the poverty level (32.3 percent) than those living at or above the poverty level (23.5 percent).
Adults with 16 or more years of education had the lowest smoking prevalence (11.3 percent). Adults with 9 to 11 years of education had higher smoking prevalence (36.8 percent) compared to adults with fewer or more years of education.
So much for not raising taxes of any form on any one earning less than $250,000. So don't be alarmed when thay raise taxes for you to pay for someones executive bonus, or health care you will never receive, or to cover a mortgage for a house you don't live in, or a war you never wanted in the first place, or to care for "terrorist" that everybody is fearful of, or to pay for a vaccine that has not been widely tested that 'might' help cure a flu that was made in a lab then released into the population.
